What You'll Do:

  • Take charge of common insurance (benefit) issues for customers from start to finish - while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

  • Respond to inquiries in a timely manner to help our customers optimize Rippling to administer group health and welfare plans

  • Communicates with vendors and clients in regards to policies, benefit eligibility, claims, and employee rights and responsibilities

  • Build mental muscle and become a product expert - you'll be a go-to resource for both customers and coworkers

  • Interact with cross-functional teams to identify areas where we can better serve our customer base through automation or added features

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline with strong academic performance

  • 2+ years of work experience in a customer/client-facing role

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with payroll concepts and practices (certifications a plus)

  • A track record of:

    • operating in a time-sensitive environment

    • learning something new/synthesizing lots of information

    • working in a cross-functional environment

    • clearly expressing a point of view (oral and written)

    • flexibility with changing job duties and responsibilities

    • excellent at time management and prioritizing tasks


What You'll Do:

  • Take charge of insurance (benefit) issues for customers from start to finish - while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

  • Leverage chat functionality to help our customers optimize Rippling to administer group health and welfare plans, including, but not limited to, Health, Life, Dental, Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Flexible Spending Accounts, Leaves Administration, Disability Insurance, and Commuter Benefits. Ensures benefit plans are within the guidelines of Section 125, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and any city, state, and federal laws

  • Reviews and resolves issues by utilizing plan documents and business rules

  • Communicates with vendors and clients in regards to policies, benefit eligibility, claims, and employee rights and responsibilities

  • Analyzes and audits cases to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of HR, Benefits, and Leave products and services

  • Build mental muscle and become a product expert - you'll be a go-to resource for both customers and coworkers

  • Interact with cross-functional teams to identify areas where we can better serve our customer base through automation or added features

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline with strong academic performance

  • 3 - 7 years of work experience in a customer/client-facing role

  • 2+ years experience in HR and/or benefits administration

  • Great at problem-solving with a keen eye for details

  • Impeccably organized and able to improve processes

  • Stellar written and verbal communication skills

  • Flexibility with changing job duties and responsibilities

  • Excellent at time management and prioritizing tasks

  • Experience with SalesForce, Zendesk, Jira, or related tools.

What You'll Do:

  • Help reinforce an environment of ongoing development and continuous improvement by overseeing and assessing the activities of the customer support team and providing them with real-time performance-related feedback

  • Train staff in areas of customer support specializations and company policies to improve proficiency and efficiency (assisting with duties where necessary)

  • Serve as the first point of escalation in support of investigating and solving customer service complaints

  • Assist with the development and deployment of support policies, and explaining these to team members and customers as appropriate

  • Assist in creating and maintaining documentation pertaining to customer support tasks and best practices

  • Partner with management to continue Rippling’s ongoing culture of collaboration with our cross-functional partners to ensure that we are continually focused on building the right features to optimize adoption

  • Review and utilize data to make informed decisions and use scalable processes to enhance and improve the customer experience

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of customer service and/or industry-related experience, preferably at a SaaS company

  • 1-2 years of experience in a Team Lead and/or Supervisor role, ideally overseeing a payroll support team or similar customer-facing team

  • Advanced knowledge of payroll concepts and practices (certifications a plus)

  • Organizational skills and the ability to multitask while helping multiple customers/team members at the same time

  • Ability to improve existing processes and workflows for internal and external stakeholders

  • Creative problem solver who enjoys removing blockers for customers in support of the team

  • Empathy, the ability to recognize where a customer is coming from, and identify how Rippling can help them.

What You'll Do:

  • Take charge of payroll issues for customers from start to finish - while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

  • Leverage chat, email, and video conferencing functionality to help our customers optimize Rippling to administer payroll processing, quarterly/yearly taxation & filings, and banking & payments inquiries

  • De-escalate and resolve issues by leveraging platform and industry expertise

  • Work well under time constraints and meet schedules; at times with unexpected deadlines, to ensure client’s payroll needs are met

  • Build mental muscle and become a product expert - you'll be a go-to resource for both customers and coworkers

  • Interact with cross-functional teams to identify areas where we can better serve our customer base through automation or added features
