As an Appliance Repair Representative, you will work a full-time or part-time shift up to 7 pm (CST) Monday through Friday and Saturdays until 4:30 pm. The base pay is at $12.00 an hour plus performance-based incentives, paid weekly.


What you will Do

After four weeks of training, you will be able to:

  • Assist consumers and customers in setting up service repair for their appliances, check the availability of technicians, and make appointments for service calls.

  • Utilize Case-Based-Reasoning (CBR) to save the service call.

  • Reschedule service calls for customers by communicating with dispatchers for special requests and customer concerns about parts.

  • Message dispatch for follow-up on appointment times and other troubleshooting.

  • Achieve and maintain specific Save-The-Call & productivity goals.

  • Provide consumer education to save in-warranty and service contract calls.

  • Negotiate and implement concessions that are in the best interest of the customer and consumer.

  • Utilize selling techniques and CBR to retain and increase the out-of-warranty business.

  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment for all.

  • Other duties as assigned by leadership.

  • A dedicated work area that is quiet and spacious enough for ASI provided equipment (i.e. PC, keyboard, mouse, monitors, chords to hook it all up and the ethernet chord)

  • Local internet provider (no Satellite or DSL internet connections allowed due to security issues)

  • Wireless Router (capable of handling minimum internet speeds of 25mbps Download 10mbps Upload)

  • Internet speeds must be as follows: Ping 50mbps or lower, Download 25mbps or higher, and Upload 10mbps or higher.

What you will Do

Essential Responsibilities

  • Lead all activities related to prospecting and finding new leadership opportunities in your assigned region.

  • Launch B2B marketing demand generation campaigns to drive conversion; determine the best approach for your territory, segment targets, and local markets.

  • Track and manage leads generated from website, events/tradeshows, and lead generation sites (Dodge, MetroStudy, Construction Monitor, etc). Use marketing tools and resources to identify and determine the best way to follow up with potential customers for your region that will drive conversion.

  • Build relationships and rapport with potential customers (builders, property managers, designers, architects) to understand their business and what’s important to them. Use these insights to work with the marketing team to develop content and materials.

  • Partner with GE Appliances Region Managers, Area Sales Managers, and Inside Sales team to identify targets, build and maintain relationships to move opportunities through the sales pipeline.
