What You’ll Do

  • Resolve Cardmember inquiries regarding a fraud- or security-related concern; such as verifying flagged transactions, caller authentication, reporting an account as fraud, etc.

  • Take incoming calls and referrals from other departments, and at times make outbound calls.

How You’ll Do It

  • Handle inbound customer calls; complete necessary fraud verification, including caller authentication, transaction verification, etc., utilizing excellent customer service skills.

  • Collect necessary information and complete a fraud report when a customer confirms unauthorized account activity.

  • Ensure proper follow-up or escalation of account based on call outcome.

  • Make outbound calls to verify account activity with the customer.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains and enhances department or functional units in support of the overall compliance program components.

  • Assists with researching regulatory compliance requirements and evaluating the adequacy of business policies, procedures, training and reference materials, system, and manual processes.

  • Assists with the identification and assessment of compliance program risks and controls.

  • Supports management in the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance programs and a culture of compliance.

  • Assists with the preparation of status reports of program initiatives, activities, and compliance issues to management and committees.

Minimum Qualifications

At a minimum, here is what we need from you:

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field

  • 6+ years of experience in compliance, law, risk management, or related field

What You'll Do

  • Responsible for collecting delinquent credit card accounts through varying channels (outbound, inbound, assigned queues, and chat sessions). Minimizes losses to the company by determining the most effective course of action to take to collect the account balances where previous collection efforts have been unsuccessful.

  • Utilizes professional and influential communications to keep the goodwill of customers while securing payments. Responsible for leaving professional and urgent messages in an attempt to get the customer to call back.

How You'll Do It

  • Reviews past due accounts and calls customers to arrange an acceptable payment program for accounts from which sufficient funds cannot be collected.

  • Builds rapport with the cardmembers and works with customers to secure repayment on delinquent accounts. Reviews credit and other available information on delinquent accounts, evaluate prospects for collection of the delinquent amount.

  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Handles difficult collection calls as determined by center management.

Job Description

What You’ll Do

  • Execute sourcing and category management activities for designated category, as directed by Category Management leadership. Activities include partnering with internal stakeholders to develop requirements, issue and score RFx events, develop appropriate leverage, negotiate pricing and commercial terms, and assist in contracting.

  • Additional responsibilities include calculating and reporting realized savings, and executing category management and sourcing best practices. Establishing and prioritizing project plans for sourcing projects will be critical to achieving expected objectives and results.

How You’ll Do It

  • Utilize best in class strategic sourcing process and data driven analytics to negotiate optimal commercial T&Cs that meet or exceed the needs of Stakeholders. Develop and execute RFx, analyze results, establish leverage strategies, and assess award scenarios. Negotiate and approve commercial terms related to third-party contracts to optimize total cost of ownership for the Company.

  • Based on the analysis of Company spend, client activity and the marketplace, develop, recommend and implement the most appropriate sourcing strategy for each project assigned.

  • Utilize sound project management techniques to ensure projects meet objectives and timelines, including the development of comprehensive project and communication plans. Maintain team accountability to project deliverables and execute all necessary communications to ensure accurate and timely flow of information to internal customers, stakeholders, and suppliers.

  • Build positive working relationships both internally and externally to provide DFS with goods and services at the lowest Total Cost of Ownership at the Highest Quality.

  • Ensure actions are in compliance with department and company policies and procedures, and applicable local, state, and federal laws.

  • Build knowledge base around designated categories, research market trends, develop an external network of peers and other sources in order to bring new ideas and concepts to DFS partners, stakeholders, and leadership.

Qualifications You’ll Need

The Basics

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Arts, or related field

  • 4+ years of experience with Strategic Sourcing, Marketing procurement, Media agency

  • In lieu of education, 6+ years of experience with Strategic Sourcing, RFx, Scoring, Should Cost Analysis, Strong Negotiations, Project Management
