What you’ll be doing:

  • Administer all Time Off Programs (leave of absence, holidays, sick time, sabbaticals) for U.S., Canada and Brazil (future) - educate employees, HR, managers, while working with external vendors and payroll to ensure accuracy time tracking and pay to report.

  • Partner with Global Benefits Operations Manager to implement leave tracking modules in Workday and/or other leave time tracking systems.

  • Answer employee questions about leaves and benefit-related matters.

  • Liaise with leave and benefits vendors to troubleshoot administrative or employee issues.

  • Create and update benefits communication and documents on the internal HR wiki.

  • Assist with Open Enrollment logistics, implementations, and communications.

  • Serve as a backup in order to facilitate New Hire Benefits sessions.

  • Provide backup support for all Time Off Programs for other international countries.

  • Provide temporary vendor management support for global EAP and fertility programs.

  • Assist with new vendor setup, purchase order setup, and invoice payment.

  • Provide communication support and handle special projects as needed.

What we look for in you:

  • 5+ years of experience in benefits, 401(k), and leave administration.

  • Solid understanding of ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, Section 125, HSA rules and other benefit and regulatory requirements.

  • Workday Benefits experience.

  • Proficient in Mac and Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.

  • Deeply detailed and process oriented.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Experience with managing vendor relationships.

  • Bachelor’s degree.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience in a startup culture - comfort with ambiguity and non-stop problem solving, building, and action.

  • Experience in benefits administration outside of the U.S.

This role will be the key owner in the development of our Compensation Systems and Tooling strategic roadmap, identifying key aspects of our program that can be systematized, automated, and potentially shared throughout various parts of our organization. Additionally, this person will be the day-to-day driver of implementation management and operations of our systems and tools.

This person will think of new, innovative ways to enhance our employees’ (and candidates’) understanding of their Compensation - they will bring our programs to life!

You will:

  • Develop the strategic roadmap for all Compensation Systems and Tooling in partnership with our HR Technology Team

  • Collaborate with internal and external parties to drive the implementation of the system for our new Comp 3.0 program (i.e., organization-wide Compensation Planning), including requirements documentation, systems design, test documentation/execution, issue identification, and resolution.

  • Work closely with our Compensation Business Partners and HR Business Partners to identify key tooling needed to support the business strategy and talent management goals (i.e., Compensation visibility)

  • Work closely with our Compensation Programs owners to improve the efficiency and increase automation of processes, as well as co-create system solutions for net new programs

  • Design and build compensation metrics, reports, and tools to inform compensation program decisions

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in compensation in a professional, fast-paced environment

  • Experience building compensation systems and scaling systems with company growth

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team

  • 8+ years of recruiting experience in technical industry or company.

  • 5+ years of people management experience.

  • Experience recruiting for and/or leading teams that hire highly specialized technical talent (ideally with some crypto/blockchain or executive hiring focus, though this isn’t a requirement).

  • Proven track record of building high-performing, inclusive and diverse teams and working closely with technical leadership.

This role is responsible for leading, developing, and supporting a team of Technical Recruiting Coordinators, as well as high-priority projects to improve operational efficiency, enhance the candidate experience and guide change management across the organization. This role will partner closely with Recruiting Managers and Recruiters to ensure they are receiving exceptional support from the Coordination team.
