Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred (CPhT).

  • Minimum two years of customer service experience in any industry required, preferably in a call center or production environment.

  • The position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Upon joining us, you will attend 6 weeks of in-depth training to help ensure your success here at eviCore healthcare. After training, a mentor and supervisor will guide your performance as you take inbound calls from doctor's offices and/or diagnostic centers, through a computer-generated system. The ability to multitask will be key, as you will be listening, entering information, completing Internet searches, and asking probing questions. Specifically, you will:

  • Process Review of Service Request notifications that do not require certification of medical necessity

  • Promptly transfer Review of Services calls which cannot be completed via the formal script to a Clinical First Level Reviewer or Medical Reviewer for completion

  • Work with sites, patients, and physician’s offices to investigate and resolve any pre-certification questions or concerns and preempt unanticipated issues

  • Provide professional, courteous, and accurate information to all callers

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will work with patients, managing inbound and outbound calls to convert prescription medication needs from retail pharmacies to the Express Scripts Home Delivery pharmacy. Our Inside Sales Representatives apply a consultative approach to communicate with customers and potential customers about our home delivery benefits. Specifically, they provide insights on the options available for customers to have their prescriptions filled by the Express Scripts Pharmacy, educating them on the safety and convenience of our services and informing them of how our offerings fit their lifestyle.


How You’ll Make A Difference:

  • Acknowledge supervisor’s instructions for continued handling.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for validating potential clinical and/or financial opportunities using scripted questions.

  • Forward all potential clinical opportunities to a pharmacist to address. Engage members to educate them about more effective ways to manage cost and to take better advantage of their prescription benefits.

  • Handle refill requests, launch faxes, and may also leverage digital platforms (emails, texting) to communicate with patients as appropriate.

  • Using pharmacy and benefit plan knowledge, will be responsible for managing a broad spectrum of member inquiries related to the planning design, order status, specific account information, and other matters in accordance with company standard operating procedures, work instructions, and other established guidelines. Enters complete and accurate records into the appropriate systems for all contacts.

  • Work collaboratively with other Clinical Programs employees to ensure that best practices are shared.

  • Participate in special projects or other duties as assigned.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS TO ENTER THE JOB

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • 2-3 years in a clinical setting, call center, or customer service required. Previous pharmacy experience preferred

  • PTCB certification preferred but not required

  • General knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and the Internet with the ability to navigate through multiple computer systems simultaneously

  • Good verbal and written communication skills;

  • Basic math skills;

  • Strong attention to detail;

  • Good organizational ability;
