  • A min of Three(3) years as a Registered Nurse with recent direct TeleHealthpatient care experience; Five(5) years preferred in a high acuity level i.e. ICU, CC, ER, and or Tele - Health, Telephonic Triage.

  • Must currently reside and have a Multi-State unrestricted RN license in one of the following states: AL, AR, CO, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MS, MO, MT, NE, NM, NC, ND, NH, OK, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA, WI, WY

  • Ability to become licensed in additional states as required

  • Minimum of an associate's degree from a two-year technical college or technical school, or diploma nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred

Additional information for Registered Nurse

  • Full-time positions available (40 hours per week)

  • Your schedule will include at least four weekend days per month. Differential pay may be earned for certain shifts.

  • Training is 2-3 weeks, with the first two weeks being Monday-Friday 10:00 AM-6 PM CST. 100% Attendance is required. Training is done in a virtual, interactive classroom setting.

  • For work-from-home positions, your home office must meet certain certification requirements that would be explained to you during the interview process.

Responsibilities for Telehealth Registered Nurse (RN)

  • Work independently to make clinical decisions on routine patient care matters (at your license level)

  • Provide patient-focused care and guidance on the phone or online, including accurately assessing needs, delivering or directing to the appropriate level of care, identifying potential health problems, and influencing people to make better health decisions

  • Communicate with our organization's clients as needed and other team members - verbally and digitally

  • Monitor your own performance with dashboard metrics and look for ways to improve

  • Participate in coaching sessions to improve performance

  • Document all patient/member interactions via management software

We are looking for individuals to handle various areas of insurance verification, authorizations, and referrals. The right candidate will work with providers and facilities to seek and obtain clinical information and communicate benefit determinations back to the providers. Lots of customer service, inbound and outbound calls along with documentation and collaboration with other departments. We have openings for overnights and mid-afternoon schedules (starting at 2 pm). As a Medical Office Scheduler (aka Patient Service Care Representative), you’ll be joining a team of talented and compassionate customer service professionals who are helping to improve healthcare– one call at a time. You’ll feel proud of the work you do, knowing you’re helping others in a profound way. The Medical Office Scheduler is responsible for providing excellent patient service care via telephone, maintaining the patient database, and scheduling appointments. Training is for approximately 4-5 weeks and 100% attendance is required for the entire training period (meaning no appointments or vacations). Following training, flexible work schedules are available with work on Mondays required. This is a training and work from home position utilizing Zoom. Some of the things you'll be doing:

  • Provides exceptional customer via telephone in a high call volume setting

  • Scheduling appointments and arranging for transportation

  • Inputting data into both Carenet and EMR (Electronic Medical Records) databases - keeping critical medical information available and accurate to ensure patients receive the best possible care

  • Contacting health plans and verifying patient insurance information

Education

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required

Skills & Experience

  • Must have strong computer skills; capable of toggling between 6, 8 or even 10 programs

  • Ability to key a MINIMUM of 40 words per minute

  • Must have at least 1-year medical office or hospital scheduling or 1-year medical clerical experience

  • Recent experience with Electronic Medical records (EMR) system experience is a big plus

  • Bilingual candidates may be eligible for a language differential to base pay
