Basic Qualifications
1 Year Experience selling Medicare Advantage Health Insurance Plans
Active Resident Health License in the home state
America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) certification will be completed prior to training (if necessary)
Active health insurance license in their home state, and willingness to acquire MA and CT licenses if selected for the position (BP will reimburse the cost of MA and CT licenses after successful completion of training
Demonstrated ability to listen skillfully, collect relevant information, determine needs, and consult with caller to recommend the appropriate product to fit their needs
Comfortable with “soft sell” techniques
Must have strong technical skills (Microsoft Windows, keyboarding skills, strong systems aptitude, etc.)
Strong computer and telephone multitasking skills including the ability to effectively search for and type information on the computer, navigate through multiple windows and screens quickly and inputting information accurately while keeping pace with the call
Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to remain focused and productive each day though tasks may be repetitive
Ability to work regularly scheduled shifts within the specified hours of operation including the training period, where lunches and breaks are scheduled, with the flexibility to adjust daily schedule, and work over-time and/or weekends, as needed.

Enroll Providers into Network by completing 855 series forms, gathers credentials and associated documentation required for enrollment, and process enrollment forms
Perform special projects, reconciliations, research, and analyses, as directed by Leadership
Research and control incoming applications and correspondence to ensure work is properly categorized
Enters data into internal document management and workflow systems
Provides quality check on the provider enrollment data and enters application information into claims processing systems
Manages inbound/outbound online FAX queues to and from providers
Quality assurance check claims processing system enrollment data
Completes application returns and/or application acknowledgment process
Supports other enrollment functions such as status calls, basic data entry, special mailings, etc

Basic Qualifications
1 Year Minimum Medicare Provider Enrollment Experience preferably with a MAC (Medicare Administrative Contractor)
Working experience with both MCS and PECOS systems
Advanced technical computer skills: keyboarding, and data entry skill
Proficient with Microsoft tools: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook & SharePoint
Knowledge of provider enrollment workload definitions, enrollment terminology, enrollment forms, and basic regulations, policies, and procedures.
