Essential Job Duties

The successful Contact Tracer will perform case investigations, work remotely to conduct a virtual “needs check,” and connect at-risk COVID-19 positive patients and people in quarantine to community resources.



Responsibilities • Act as primary point person to call people with a positive diagnostic test for COVID-19, provide support and gather information, including information about the disease and isolation procedures. • Call contacts of newly diagnosed patients. • Triage and coordinate next steps for isolation for cases and quarantine for individuals the person has been in contact with. • Communicate with cases and contacts in a professional and empathetic manner. • Collect and record information on symptoms into the CRM. • Provide contacts with approved information on state/local quarantine procedures, and, if appropriate, refer them to testing according to the protocol (and/or to a COVID-19 Care Resource Coordinator for social resources.) • Coordinate tracking efforts with local health authorities and refer cases and contacts to local resources. • Oversee quality control of data collection and data reporting. • Make informed, educated decisions on case management based on interview guidelines. • Contact Tracers will be required to use their own telephone, computer, and electronic equipment. • Maintain daily contact with the Case Navigator

Qualifications & Requirements • Experience within a healthcare setting & knowledge of HIPAA laws • Ability to exhibit a professional, positive attitude and work ethic. • Excellent interpersonal skills required and ability to interact professionally with individuals during a time of crisis and distress. • Ability to show empathy to distressed individuals. • Excellent organizational and communication skills. • Critical thinking and sound judgment are required. • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. • Proficiency with computers with Microsoft Excel as you will use that to track information.

What are the calls about?

We will train you on over 9 clients to provide customer service and sales support. Ameridial has a variety of clients that we take orders for a variety of lifestyle products including movie tickets and hunting gear.

Requirements you must have to get the job done!

  • Must be able to attend the virtual training - we have an enriching training program to coach you UP!

  • Available for midday, evening, and weekend shifts

  • 6 months work at home experience

  • 6 months of call center experience is required outbound call experience is a plus

What are the calls about? Taking payments from a customer calling in to pay their insurance pay for their property and casualty insurance. You would also authenticate a person’s identity to best direct them to the appropriate dept. Requirements to get the job done

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 1 year of solid and recent customer service experience from the hospitality, retail, and insurance industry

  • 6 months of previous call center experience

  • 6 months of previous work at home experience is a plus

  • Must attend mandatory 2-week training

  • Availability Monday thru Friday 8 am-6 pm Characteristics we look for in you

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick educated decisions

  • Ability to type 30 words per minute

  • Exceptional screen navigation skills with the ability to navigate multiple programs at one time

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, Word & Outlook

  • Familiarity with Chrome, Edge browsers, how to clear cache, find and use bookmarks

This is an inbound customer service call. You could be updating names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, drivers, mileage, etc. This is a nonsales position.
