CONNECT, powered by American Family Insurance is hiring Inside Sales Agents. Our Inside Sales Agents assist clients via warm leads to educate, provide quotes, and sell any, or all, of the following insurance products - auto, home/renters/condo, and umbrella insurance. This is done by demonstrating the advantages of our company's products, services and benefits while also overcoming objections to purchasing.


What to know about the position:


No COLD CALLING - prospective customers call you and are already interested in an insurance quote!


We are looking for candidates who speak English or that are bilingual in Spanish.


This is a REMOTE/work from home position.


License not required to be considered but candidates holding a current P&C license will receive a $500 sign-on bonus.

Starting pay: $20.00 per hour plus commission eligibility.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Lead a team of coaches and auditors responsible for providing support for inbound sales and customer service call center employees in the field of personal lines Auto and Home Insurance.

  • Collaborate across our Support Excellence team to ensure resources are properly allocated to meet or exceed all prioritized support tasks including auditing, coaching, and mentoring.

  • Make recommendations to realign and reprioritize work, as needed, for maximizing value to our business partners in phone operations.

  • Lead cross skill and upskill initiatives within Support Excellence.

  • Collaborate with peers across the enterprise working to optimize support of phone operational areas as we drive best in industry practices.

  • Participate in, and provide subject matter expertise on, cross-functional and cross operational, projects and/or process improvement initiatives.

  • Provide situational leadership and employee development through various channels such as side-by-side observations, calibrations, 1x1’s, and performance evaluations.

  • Utilize LEAN principles to drive process improvements.

  • Provides leadership by exhibiting all aspects of lean leadership behaviors, thus affecting a culture of continuous improvement.



Job Description:

Primary Accountabilities

  • Assist business partners in developing and implementing adequate compliance policies and procedures.

  • Investigate medium-complexity issues independently. Gather and track related information. Make appropriate recommendations.

  • Assist in and/or lead the coordination of regulatory exams and inquiries, along with draft written inquiries.

  • Research applicable laws and regulations and analyze their effect on business practices. Apply a working knowledge of laws, regulations, and internal policies related to Compliance.

  • Maintain current knowledge of industry practices and developments.

  • Serve as an expert resource on assigned subjects on more complex issues.

  • Complete detailed data analysis, such as conducting in-depth reviews of internal business practices, as needed, to identify potential problems and mitigate risk. Recommend solutions, as appropriate.

  • Escalate issues and maintain records, as required or appropriate.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements

  • 2-3 years of financial or insurance services industry experience.

  • Analytical skills.
