AAA is hiring full-time Customer Service positions for the busy Roadside Assistance Virtual Call Center Team! If you are looking to rescue and help people in their biggest time of need, this is the role for you! Virtual training: Starts December 6th, 3 weeks, Monday through Friday 9:00 am - 4:30 pm

  • Computer pickups will occur the week before training in our Newark, DE office

  • Home WIRED internet connection and quiet workspace required

Schedules After Training: 37.5 hours per week, 9:00am - 5:00pm, 10:00am - 6:00pm, or 11:00am - 7:00pm (1 Weekend Day is required per week) In order to be considered for this role you must live within our territory. Total Rewards Package includes:

What you can provide AAA:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Two (2) to five (5) years of customer service experience

  • Effective analytical, written, and oral communication skills to enable accurate completion of assignments, proper handling of problem situations, and constructive interaction with others. Ability to cope in a professional manner with a fast work pace and time pressure. Ability to remain organized and in control under challenging conditions.

  • Working knowledge of personal computer, internet and competent keyboarding skills to accurately and efficiently complete daily work assignments.

  • Ability to read a map and provide clear directions.

  • Ability to work weekends, overtime, and/or holidays as necessitated by business and/or weather conditions.


What you will be doing:

  • Serve members and clients on the telephone, email, and web chat by providing Air, Car, Rail & Hotel reservations. A concentration on Diamond Elite and Preferred vendor products is required.

  • Exposure to International destinations is expected.

  • Book and counsel members on domestic hotels and cars.

  • Meet or exceed established sales quota.

  • Prepare and issue invoices related to retail travel sales. With assistance, satisfactorily handle refunds and complaints according to policy.

  • Familiarity and, with assistance, capable of operating applicable automated airline reservation and ticketing system.

  • Comply with all ARC regulations and Mid-Atlantic policies and procedures in the collection and handling of assets.

  • Familiarity with and, with minimal assistance, capable of utilizing ARC Agent's Handbook and standard travel reference material for airline, rail, hotel/resort, etc. information to efficiently and effectively accommodate Agency clients.


What we need from you:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience as an AAA Travel Counselor or at least 12 to 18 months of retail experience or travel sales.

  • Knowledge of an automated airline reservation system is preferred.

  • Satisfactory employment screening results.

What you will be doing:

  • Ensures that all key internal client service areas are aligned with client’s business goals.

What we need from you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related fields and five (5) years of experience in commercial or corporate travel.

  • Ability to travel as needed for business purposes (20%)

  • Ability to respond positively to clients, make recommendations, and interact with individuals at various levels of responsibility.

  • Ability to use office products to self-support financial analysis, client-facing communications, and formal presentations.

The successful candidate will be able to identify trends and utilize associate feedback to edit and/or enhance the content, to ensure our customer-facing associates have the knowledge they need to be successful during customer service and sales interactions.


As a Knowledge Content Editor, you will:

  • Write content for all supported business lines following the discipline required and established for the knowledge base tool.

  • Interact with business line subject matter experts to document process details.

  • Manage Panviva application and vendor relationship.

  • Process map content into the knowledge base tool.

  • Coordinate continually with business line subject matter experts to ensure content is correct and kept up to date.

  • Administer the knowledge base tool adding and editing users and permissions as well as vendor interaction to manage updates as needed.

  • Other duties as assigned.


What we need from you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Journalism or any applicable field

  • Three (3) years of experience in instructional design and/or professional writing preferred

  • Two (2) years of successful Project Management experience

  • Customer service, sales, retail, and/or training experience

  • Experience writing procedural documents and structured content with strong editing, proofreading, and writing skills

  • Ability to understand and interpret business processes and translate them into policy and procedure content

  • Proficiency in process and workflow analysis and visualization and process mapping

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Communication skills; written and oral and presentation skills; ability to interact and communicate with all levels within the organization

  • Organizational and analytical skills; ability to identify trends

  • DITA experience preferred



** This is a work from home position-the selected candidate must reside within the AAA Club Alliance territory, specifically in the Cincinnati/Dayton OH region or the Mid-Atlantic region (PA, NJ, DE, MD or VA).

Other duties of the AAA World Advertising Sales Representative are:

  • Prepares presentations using a variety of issues. Sales efforts include cold call prospecting and telephone sales; maintains contract files on all ad clients; makes sales presentations by telephone and in person and facilitates related data entry and materials handling for the representative’s assigned territory/accounts.

  • Establish and maintain positive communications and professional demeanor at all times with advertisers, fellow associates and members.

  • Assists with payment collections and related activities on representative’s accounts.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma with 2 to 3 years of sales experience.

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

  • Ability to generate sales leads and close sales.

  • Knowledge of publishing contracts, terminology and methods.

  • Willingness to travel.

  • Assist with review and processing of Non-download new, renewal, and endorsed business applications in order to meet Agency and Carrier defined guidelines.

What we need from you:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Two (2) years of experience within the insurance industry, including insurance underwriting preferred.

  • Licensed Agent – Property and Casualty License (required)

  • Life Insurance license (preferred)


What you will be doing:

  • Audit new and renewal applications and policy submissions for completeness and accuracy.

  • Responsible for auditing agent and carrier policy transactions. Ensure that insurance policies are issued in accordance with individual Agency, Carrier and organizational guidelines; in compliance with existing regulatory standards.

  • Process policy updates and endorsements via Carrier proprietary system; documenting and communicate changes with sales agents and agency management system entries.

  • Assist Compliance & QA Specialist with monthly reports documenting errors and findings to the appropriate agent and manager.

  • Identify and provide potential Error and Omission issues to Comp/QA management.

  • Process corrections and re-entry of data inconsistencies, all systems, and applications.

  • Complete monthly reports from Management and Agency Administration.

  • Maintain documentation for routine audits by management and carriers.

  • Maintain current with all agency and carrier compliance.

  • Identify, resolve and update policies left in agency systems suspense.

  • Provide monthly referrals to improve membership sales, insurance product sales, and driving school registrations.

  • Provide backup phone coverage for insurance calls.

  • Utilize automation capability to perform all functions.

  • Protect and maintain account files and department records in accordance with Agency and Carrier regulatory compliance requirements.
